BASlC DRAWlNG & WATERCOLOR
WORKSHOP

with
Suzanne McDermott

• for beginners and as a refresher for experienced artists •

Learn fundamentals of drawing and watercolor while exploring shapes, patterns, textures and colors in the natural world. Instruction on basic tools and technique, visual concepts and color mixing will focus on trees, plants, landscapes and the occasional cooperative animal through a series of progressive exercises designed to develop conceptual understanding and physical ability.

Designed to simplify the process of drawing and watercolor, participants are prepared to do artwork on their own outside of a class situation. Materials are kept to essentials and we work on a small scale (5” x 8”). Discover a new sense of self, enhanced observational skills, and experience a noticeable development of confidence and awareness.
